My Comment:

Starring: Briana Evigan, Leah Pipes, Rumer Willis, Jamie Chung, Audrina Patridge, Carrie Fisher

I've been waiting for a great slasher flick since I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scream. After watching Hollywood's latest blood fest, Sorority Row, it looks like my wait is going to last a little longer.

Cassidy, Jessica, Ellie, Claire, Chugs and Megan are Theta Pi sisters who live by the sorority's code of trust, secrecy and solidarity no matter what. Their loyalty is put to the test one night when Megan is killed when a prank goes wrong.

To safeguard their futures, the girls decide to ditch Megan's body and to never speak of it again.

As with all slasher movie, sometime in the future, just as the girls are about to go their separate ways, their secret comes back to haunt them in the form of a cloaked murderer – a la Scream.

You can see where this is headed so I shall not torture you with the bloody details.

THE LUCKY ONE: Thank God I'm leaving this scene, babes!

The only worth-while mention for Sorority Row is Carrie Fisher's no-nonsense, gun-packing housemother role, but alas even her short presence is not enough to save this movie that should have remained in the imagination of its writers.
